About SuperCheck AU
SuperCheck AU is a free, independent website with one job: helping workers in Australia check that their employer is paying the superannuation they're legally owed.
Why this site exists
Billions of dollars in super go unpaid in Australia every year, and the people most affected — casuals, hospitality workers, backpackers, international students — are the least likely to know how to check. When the Payday Super rules started on 1 July 2026, checking became genuinely possible for the first time: super now has to land in your fund within days of every payday, not months later. We built the calculator so anyone can verify their payslip in 30 seconds.
What we are (and aren't)
- We are an independent information site. We are not affiliated with the ATO, any super fund, or any employer.
- We don't sell financial products, and we don't take commissions from super funds.
- We provide general information only — not financial, legal or tax advice. For advice on your situation, talk to the ATO or a licensed adviser.
How we keep information current
Superannuation rules change — rates, thresholds and deadlines are set by legislation and updated by the ATO. We review our calculator and guides against official ATO guidance, and each page shows when it was last updated. Spot something out of date? Tell us — we genuinely want to know.
How the site is funded
The site is free to use and funded by advertising. Ads never influence the numbers our calculator produces or the guidance in our articles.
