Being straight with you about what that means: I am not a financial adviser, tax agent, or migration agent, and I hold no financial qualification. That is exactly why this site works the way it does — I don't ask you to trust my judgement. Every rate, deadline and rule here is taken from the body that actually sets it (the ATO, Fair Work, APRA, Home Affairs), and each page names the source it relied on so you can go and check it yourself. Where something depends on assumptions rather than a published rule, I say so instead of giving you a confident number.
Why this site exists
I'm in the audience this site is written for. Working holiday makers, international students and other temporary visa holders are the workers most likely to be underpaid super in Australia, and the least likely to know how to check.
When I looked at what already existed on the Payday Super rules that started on 1 July 2026, nearly all of it was written for employers — payroll compliance guides, accounting firm updates, ATO material aimed at businesses. Very little was written for the person actually holding the payslip, and almost none of it existed in the languages this workforce searches in.
So that is the gap this site fills: consumer-side tools, in four languages. The rule change also made checking genuinely possible for the first time — super now has to land in your fund within 7 business days of every payday instead of once a quarter, so an employer who isn't paying shows up in weeks rather than years.
What we are (and aren't)
- Independent. Not affiliated with the ATO, any super fund, any tax agent, or any employer.
- We don't sell financial products and take no commissions or referral fees from super funds or tax agents.
- We don't recommend specific super funds. Where a comparison is needed we point you at the ATO's free YourSuper tool, which uses APRA data.

How the numbers are kept honest
Our editorial policy sets out which official publications each figure comes from, what we deliberately refuse to model (award and penalty rates, because getting those wrong would be actively harmful), how often pages are reviewed, and how corrections are handled — including a correction we have already published against ourselves.
Spot something out of date or wrong? Tell me. I would rather hear it from you than leave it up.
How the site is funded
The site is free, has no paywall, and is intended to be funded by advertising. Ads never influence the numbers the calculators produce, which sources are used, or what the guides recommend.
